Notice of Financial Information
Dolores School District Ballot Issue 3C State law imposes a notice requirement for all local governments submitting a ballot issue concerning the creation of any debt or other financial obligation. Section 1-7-908, C.R.S. requires notice of the District’s audited financial information to be posted on the District’s website no later than 20 days before the election (October 17, 2012).

| The Colorado Legacy Foundation: San Juan BOCES receives grant funding to support local school districts. This three years of Gates Foundation funding will provide teacher and principals with professional development (PD), enhance professional learning enviornments (PLC), and encourage the research and design of future teacher/principal effectiveness tools (Meeting the requirements of Senate Bill 191, attaching 50% of all evaluations to be based on the academic growth of students). |

Providing a Safe Learning Environment Everyday:
Dolores teachers have recently been trained by our San Juan Board of Collaborative Educational Services (SJ BOCES) in the "Standards Response Protocol" created by the "i love u guys" Foundation.
This systematic training throughout the State is for law enforcements, fire departments, and education staff to minimize confusion during an emergency. For more information, visit www.iloveyouguys.org

Booster Club News
The Dolores Bears Booster Club is placing orders for Dolores Bears Hoodies, T-shirts, fleece vests and jackets. Hoodies and T-shirts are available in black, gray, and red. Fleece jackets and vests are available in black or red. We also have our plaid flannel pants available in black or red. Orders and money are due to the high school office no later than Friday, March 22nd to have items here by mid April.
