Our Bear Backer membership drive has been very successful so far this year, but anyone interested can still become a “Bear Backer” to help support our kids. The Bear Backer levels available are: Be A Bear" for $10, Bronze level for $25, Silver level for $50. The Platinum level, $250, not only gets a sign in the gym, but you can have your "business card" as part of the activity program. As well as the Gold level, which is $100, can also submit a business card or just best wishes to an athlete..  Become a Bear Backer and help support our Dolores Bears!

Attention car owners: If you purchased tires at Four States Tire and Service, we are collecting receipts.  Four States will donate $5 per tire to your booster club.  Please turn in your receipt to the Dolores H.S/M.S office by March 30th.  For more information, please contact Ronda Weir at 882-4269 or Nancy Nelligan at 565-8815. 

The Dolores Bears Booster Club, a member of the Dolores Chamber of Commerce, invites you to the Dolores Chamber of Commerce banquet on Saturday, March 24th at the Dolores Community Center.  The annual Chamber banquet is a fundraiser for scholarships awarded to Dolores High School seniors.  The theme this year is “Dolores Past and Present”.  There will be a silent auction and door prizes too.  The fun begins at 6:00 p.m., with dinner at 7:00 p.m.  You can purchase your banquet ticket for $30 at the Dolores Visitor’s Center.  We hope you can join us in supporting this worthwhile cause.  GO Bears!

• Helped purchase high school wrestling warm-ups (they have the biggest turnout in several years)
• Middle school football awards
• Cameras for the school newspaper
• Fee for two high school girls’ All Star State Volleyball Team
• High school basketball teams’ hotel rooms in Pagosa Springs for the tournament
• Middle school and high school Knowledge Bowl meet snacks.
• Middle school Math Counts
• Helped purchase high school track uniforms
• Concussion helmets for high school football
• Helped purchase Roll-out Mat for both schools’ track and field jumping pit and landscape fabric for pit lining
